District Five needs volunteer to serve on Board of Assessment Appeals

School District Five of Lexington & Richland Counties is seeking a community member to serve a three-year term as its representative on the Richland County Board of Assessment Appeals. The primary responsibility of the Board of Assessment Appeals is to hear and rule on appeals related to property tax assessment and reassessment.

Richland County residents, living within the boundaries of the school district, who are interested in serving should send a letter of interest by Tuesday, November 30, 2021, to the School District Five Board of Trustees in care of Interim Superintendent Akil E. Ross, Sr., 1020 Dutch Fork Road, Irmo, SC 29063.
