District Five offers supper program

School District Five’s Student Nutrition department is continuing its commitment to ensuring no child goes hungry by providing meals to students participating in the district’s after-school programs. The meals are made possible through the district’s sponsorship of the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Child and Adult Care Food Program.

The program, which began in October and runs through September 2026, offers weekday meals (Monday through Friday) at the following after-school locations: Harbison West Elementary School, Leaphart Elementary School, Universal Outreach & STEM Program, Seven Oaks Park, Oak Pointe Elementary School, Nursery Road Elementary School, and the YMCA Northwest location on Kennerly Road.

Meals are provided at no cost to all children enrolled in participating after-school programs, regardless of race, color, national origin, sex, age, or disability.
