Irmo’s Assistant Town Administrator, Doug Polen, has been elected President of the South Carolina Community Development Association (SCCDA).
The SCCDA is a distinguished organization that unites professionals dedicated to community development from across the state. This includes individuals working in municipal, county, regional, and state government, private companies, elected officials, and volunteers.
The association serves as a valuable forum for members to learn and share best practices, fostering continuous improvement in our communities. Doug’s leadership will undoubtedly contribute to the SCCDA’s mission of enhancing community development efforts throughout South Carolina.
