The town of Irmo has three teams ranked in the inaugural S.C. Basketball Coaches Association preseason poll.
Both Dutch Fork teams made the Class 5A Division I rankings. The Silver Foxes ranked sixth, while the Lady Silver Foxes were ninth.
Region player of the year Michaela Fairwell was named to the Class 5A Division I Top Five seniors team. She averaged 17.7 points, 6.9 rebounds and 6.6 steals per game in leading the Lady Silver Foxes to the Region 4-5A title.
The Irmo girls were ranked eighth in Division II.
