A 3-game road trip to open the 2026 season comes to an end Friday for Dutch Fork.
The 4-time defending champion Dutch Fork will visit first-time opponent Lucy Beckham in Mount Pleasant.
Dutch Fork (2-0) is coming off a 56-14 win over Spartanburg. It was the team’s 11th straight victory dating back to last season.
Quarterback Jake Knotts threw two touchdowns on offense. It was the defense that was the story with back-to-back interception return TDs by Alijah Grupee and Josiah Robinson and holding the Vikings to -76 rushing yards.
In the two previous road games, the Silver Foxes have held opponents to -74 yards on the ground.
Over at W.C. Hawkins Stadium, the Yellow Jackets play host to Wilson (2-1). After a season-opening loss to Rock Hill, they have outscored their last two opponents 92-0.
In the 55-0 win over Lower Richland, running back Tai Phillips and quarterback Brittain Davis, each had three touchdowns. Wide receiver Jay Eaddy had two touchdown receptions.
