Four-Star Michigan Commit to Represent South Carolina on National Stage
IRMO, S.C. – Dutch Fork High School standout Julian Walker has been selected to play in the 2026 Navy All-American Bowl, one of the nation’s premier high school football showcases. The annual event has spotlighted future NFL stars such as Andrew Luck, Adrian Peterson, Odell Beckham Jr., Tim Tebow, Eric Berry, and Robert Quinn.
A Michigan commit since July 1, 2025, Walker chose Ann Arbor over an impressive list of 18 scholarship offers that included South Carolina, Missouri, Auburn, and Southern Cal, among others.
Standing 6-foot-6 and weighing 255 pounds, the four-star edge rusher is among the state’s most highly regarded prospects. As a junior in 2024, he posted 44 tackles, 13 tackles for loss, and 9.5 sacks, anchoring a Dutch Fork defense that has long been one of South Carolina’s toughest units.
Dutch Fork defensive coordinator Scott Braswell praised Walker’s leadership and team-first mentality.
“Julian Walker is an invaluable member of our team,” Braswell said. “His influence and leadership improve everyone around him. His team-first mentality means more to our program than the number of stars he has next to his name.”
With his rare blend of size, athleticism, and production, Walker looks poised to make a major impact at the Navy All-American Bowl and beyond — first as a Wolverine, and perhaps one day, in the NFL.
The 2026 Navy All-American Bowl will take place on Saturday, January 10, 2026, at the Alamodome in San Antonio, Texas, with kickoff scheduled for 1:00 p.m. ET.
