Edgemoor, South Carolina – We are devastated to announce the passing of Ernest Sidney Austin III, (Little Bud) passed Thursday August 03, 2023. Austin is survived by his wife, April Austin, his children, Sidney Austin, Caitlyn Austin and Bentley Austin. He is also survived by very close family, Mother-in-law, Annette Briggs, Sister-in-law, Amanda Page (Levi), Brother-in-law, Aaron Hastings, Aunt, Gail Dorroh (Sammy), and Brother at Heart, Stephen Johnson along with many other extended family and friends.
Born on January 02, 1980, in Mooresville, North Carolina and was the son of (the late) Ernest Sidney Austin Jr. and Melba Bell.
Austin loved his family, driving an 18-wheeler and being outdoors. Austin will also be remembered for his quirky playful sense of humor. His family will hold many special memories of the time they had with him.
A Celebration of Life service was held at 1 pm Saturday, August 12, 2023 at Gospel Light Baptist Church, 2738 Catawba River Road in Fort Lawn. A reception with family and friends followed the service with a light lunch to share memories.
