There are individuals, volunteer organizations, homeowners associations and others who give their time to pick up and bag trash along the roadside. Wonderful!!!
There is one final step to close the effort put forth. Someone must contact the SC Department of Transportation to inform them of your scheduled date so the trash bags can be picked up and taken to sites in Lexington County. Better yet have someone in your organization take the bags to the dump site in a timely manner otherwise they will sit there for weeks.
