From the onset of the school year, H. E. Corley’s faculty and staff have been committed to ensuring that “Every Student Matters, Every Moment Counts.” School-wide events such as the Crocodile Countdown, Grandparent’s Breakfast, Pumpkin Walk, and Trunk or Treat have provided families and the community an opportunity to come be a part of all the great things happening at H. E. Corley!
H. E. Corley is known for its rich history and legacy in achievement and academic excellence. This school year has been no exception. H. E. Corley recently received a “Good” rating on the SC Report Card issued by the SC Department of Education. H. E. Corley also earned recognition as a 2023 Leader in Me Lighthouse Academic Honor Roll school by the FranklinCovey Education organization. This award comes as a testament to hard work and dedication to growing students academically.
Students continue to learn and grow daily at H. E. Corley through the Leadership and Montessori magnet
programs. Student leaders help daily in various roles such as school tour guides, safety patrol, Corley News Network crew, and preschool lunch buddies. Faculty, staff, and students are working hard to set goals, track their progress, and celebrate successes on a weekly basis. The school’s Montessori magnet continues to be a highly sought-after choice in School District Five, where faculty and staff help students learn and grow while keeping to the Montessori philosophy.
