The annual Red Bank Invitational (RBI) Baseball Tournament was held this past weekend at White Knoll High School, drawing eight teams for the early-season showcase.
Among the participants was Irmo High School, which had Waylon Grillot earn All-Tournament honors and Caden Hall named to the All-Academic Team for his performance in the classroom.
When the final out was recorded, it was Hillcrest High School capturing the tournament championship with a win over Brookland-Cayce High School in the title game.
Host White Knoll was also well represented, as Denzel Posey and Jean Maldonado were selected to the All-Tournament Team for their standout performances.
The RBI Baseball Tournament continues to serve as a competitive early-season measuring stick for area programs, highlighting emerging talent and setting the tone for the season ahead.
