IRMO — A home in Irmo was heavily damaged by a fire Tuesday morning, but no injuries were reported, according to the Irmo Fire District.
Fire crews, assisted by the Columbia Fire Department, responded to a residential structure fire in the 200 block of Braewick Road shortly after 9 a.m.
The home sustained extensive damage, but all occupants — including pets — were safely accounted for.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation by the Irmo Fire District.
