Iblebe and the Irmo Cherry Blossom Festival invite you to attend the Irmo Cherry Blossom Festival Artists’ Day in Irmo Town Park. The event will be held on March 26th from 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM.
This is a casual, self-guided event. Plein air artists and photographers are invited to set up their easels and tripods to capture the beauty of the park while the Cherry Trees are in bloom.
Enjoy the serene experience of locals in their finest kimonos and cosplay creations during the Kimono Stroll and Cosplay Parade. If you’d like to participate in the Stroll, feel free to wear your own kimono, haori, yukata or happi coats and join in. New cosplayers are also welcome at the meet-up.
Bring your own picnic brunch or lunch if you’d like and quietly contemplate the natural transition of the blossoms. Manga lovers are invited to read and discuss plot points with other fans by the delightful koi pond or in the gazebo.
Please respect the park, the town and the citizens of Irmo by following park rules and being considerate toward others who attend.
