Irmo Events Committee to Host Christmas Parade

IRMO, S.C. — A brand-new holiday tradition is coming to town! The Town of Irmo Events Committee has announced the First Annual Irmo Christmas Parade, set to bring festive cheer to the community on Saturday, December 6 at 9:00 a.m.

The parade will begin at Crossroads Intermediate School and travel along St. Andrews Road, ending near McDonald’s. Spectators are encouraged to find a spot early along the route to enjoy the sights and sounds of the season.

The event will feature colorful floats, lively marching bands, local schools and organizations, and perhaps even a visit from Santa Claus himself.

“We’re excited to kick off a new tradition that brings families and neighbors together during the most magical time of the year,” said a representative from the Irmo Events Committee. “This is an opportunity to spread joy, celebrate community, and start the season with a smile.”

All ages are invited to come out, bundle up, and be part of this exciting new chapter in Irmo’s holiday celebrations.
