Irmo High School’s Family, Career and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA) and Health Occupations Students of America (HOSA) students completed a successful collaboration with Brookdale Harbison Assisted Living. Together, they help to collect socks for the residents of Providence Home, a heartwarming initiative that exemplifies the spirit of community service.
Providence Home, a local facility that offers care and support to individuals in need. Irmo FCCLA and HOSA students recognized the importance of contributing to the well-being of their community, and they embarked on a mission to provide comfort and warmth to those in Providence Home.
In a remarkable display of teamwork and compassion, the student organizations rallied their school to collect socks for the cause during the month of October. Their efforts were met with enthusiastic participation, and the results were nothing short of astounding – over 100 pairs of socks were gathered to be donated to Providence Home.
This heartwarming initiative not only speaks to the giving spirit of Irmo’s FCCLA and HOSA students but also highlights the significant impact that youth can have when they come together for a common cause.
