Book Sales are back. The Friends of the Irmo Branch Library has an opportunity for you to come out and enjoy the fall weather and find that next great read.
The Friends will hold a one-day-only Outdoor Used Book Sale on October 9, from 9 am to 3:30 pm in the parking lot of the Irmo Branch Library, 6251 St. Andrews Road.
There will be a large selection of fiction, nonfiction and children’s books available in both hardback and paperback. DVDs and other media are also available. The rain date will be October 23.
Sales will be by the book or by the bag and Friends members receive a discount. You can become a member at the door for $10.
Customers are encouraged to wear masks, and the parking lot offers plenty of room for social distancing.
A non-profit, volunteer organization, the Friends support, promote and help fund Irmo Branch Library programs, services and materials through proceeds from book sales and other events.
