IRMO —In three seasons, point guard Abby Livingston has earned a place in Irmo High School girls basketball history.
This past Friday, she reached the 1,000-point plateau last week at the Temple of Doom. She scored five points to reach the milestone in the first quarter.
Livingston was unable to complete the game. While driving to the basket, she injured her left ankle and did not return in finishing with 11 points.
Without Livington, Lailah Singletary carried the offense with 28 points and 14 rebounds and Janiyah Stokes added 25 points and six rebounds in the 68-42 victory.
After improving to 7-1 on the season, Irmo honored Livingston who returned to the court on crutches. She was presented a trophy for her achievement by teammates.
The boys completed the sweep with a 54-31 victory to improve to 6-2 on the season. Khiry White had 15 points and Christian Brown finished with 13 points.ss this season.
DUTCH FORK
The Silver Foxes remained in the ranks of the undefeated after wins over Dreher and Spring Valley.
Against the Blue Devils, preseason Top Five Senior Justus Bell had 13 points and Samajee Govan, Caleb Garner and K.J. Dupree also contributed eight points each.

Bell had a game-high 19 points in the 78-53 victory over Spring Valley to improve to 8-0 on the season. Dupree finished with 13 points and Govan had 10 in the win.
Meanwhile, the Lady Silver Foxes rebounded from their first loss against Blythewood on Dec. 10 with a 76-47 win over Spring Valley two nights later.
Dutch Fork (7-1) jumped out to a 19-9 lead in the first quarter. It increased the lead as many as 31 points in the third quarter.
Aaliyah Lee finished with 18 points and Avani Adams had 15. The Lady Silver Foxes got a pair of double-doubles from Trinity Crumlin (14 points, 11 rebounds) and Ryleigh McCree (10 points, 11 rebounds) and Jamia Gerald dished out 10 assists.
