Lake Murray Park Introduces Reservation System for Visitors

Visitors to Lake Murray Public Park will need to make advance reservations before heading to the popular beach and recreation area on the Lexington side of the dam. The park, managed by Dominion Energy, will open for the season on April 9, and the new system allows reservations up to three weeks in advance.

To secure a spot, visitors should go to DominionEnergy.com/LakeMurray. Cash payments will no longer be accepted at the entry gate.

Key Details About the New System:

$5 single-use day passes available up to three weeks ahead

Visitors must present an email confirmation of their pass at the gate

Passes are valid for the entire day, but re-entry is not allowed

The reservation system only applies to the Lexington-side park
