The Capital City/Lake Murray Country Regional Tourism Board held Lake Murray’s 4th of July Celebration July 3.
The Boat Parade was back this year and boats of all sizes and shapes showed this year’s theme “Proud to be an American.”
Winners were:
1st place, Robyn King, Columbia
2nd place, Jan or John Rohner, Leesville
3rd place, Randy Alford, Leesville
4th place, Timothy Phelan, Deer Park, New York
At dusk, fireworks launched from Dreher Island and Spence Island.
