Leaphart Elementary STEAM Magnet School is the proud recipient of a brand new “Buddy Bench” thanks to the St. Andrews Woman’s Club and the Lake Murray-Irmo Woman’s Club.
The two organizations partnered with the school throughout the school year to support the TREX Plastic Recycling Program. Through their dedicated efforts, they collected more than 1,000 pounds of plastic film earning a TREX bench made from recycled materials.
