If you’re a left-handed golfer, take time to analyze your swing from multiple angles! Ask a friend to video your swing using your iPhone — face-on, down-the-line, and even overhead if possible. Compare these videos to slow-motion swings from pros you see on TV or in golf books and magazines. Visual feedback is one of the most powerful tools for improvement.
If you’re right-handed, don’t skip this either! Watching a left-hander can be a great learning opportunity, since you’re both swinging in the same direction — just mirrored!
You can also practice in front of a mirror or use your shadow with the sun or a light behind you. Both are simple but effective tools to check your posture, alignment, and motion.
Finally, seek instruction from seasoned PGA professionals — especially those with deep experience teaching and playing. The tips you get from well-meaning friends (or even YouTube) aren’t always what you need right now.
Work smart, practice with purpose — and swing with confide
