Agents of the South Carolina Law Enforcement Division Wednesday charged a
Lexington County man October 13 for kidnapping, robbing, and attempting to sexually assault a woman in her home while in possession of multiple weapons.
Robert Brandon Neeley, 35, was charged with armed robbery, kidnapping, first-degree assault with intent to commit criminal sexual conduct, along with two counts of possession of a weapon during a violent crime.
The SLED investigation was requested by the South Congaree Police Department.
Neeley was booked at the Lexington County Detention Center.
The case will be prosecuted by the 11th Circuit Solicitor’s Office.
