The St. Andrews Woman’s Club dedicated a library box in the Irmo Town Park located near the municipal center and police department. Irmo Mayor Barry A. Walker, Sr. was on hand for the dedication with Judy Keating, Pam Johnson, Dianne McCarthy and three children, Karolyn Redden, Vivian Redden and Whitman Hendrix.
The box allows town residents to borrow and replace books free of charge. The box is checked on weekly and sometimes a few snacks are placed there also.
