Lieutenant Grinstead Named Irmo’s Employee of the Quarter

The Town of Irmo is happy to announce that Lieutenant Grinstead has been honored as the Employee of the Quarter! This well-deserved recognition highlights her outstanding contributions and unwavering commitment to the department and the community.

Chief Dale shared his pride in Lieutenant Grinstead, stating, “We’re proud to recognize Lieutenant Grinstead as our Employee of the Quarter. Aside from her dynamic social media presence, her dedication, compassion, and leadership consistently go above and beyond the call of duty. Recently, she helped a distressed walk-in victim from outside our jurisdiction, providing not only support and safety but also mentorship to a junior officer. She’s taken initiative in organizing outstanding warrant files, ensuring every detail is in order for officers and the jail. She’s been instrumental in community service efforts, FOIA requests, and even took it upon herself to clean shared spaces — all on her day off. Whether she’s leading by example or quietly stepping in to help, Lieutenant Grinstead embodies the spirit of service that defines the Irmo Police Department. We’re incredibly fortunate to have her.”

“Lieutenant Grinstead’s efforts embody the spirit of service that the Irmo Police Department strives for,” said Irmo Police Chief Bobby Dale. “Her dedication, compassion, and leadership make her an invaluable asset to the team.”
