Artist Kimberly Case of Studio 3P, LLC will join 38 other artists as part of the 2022 Columbia Open Studios arts open house tour April 2 and 3.
The free weekend-long event is an opportunity for art enthusiasts to visit the workshops of local artists, to observe art in the making, to talk with artists firsthand, and to shop.
The Columbia Open Studios is presented by the 701 Center for Contemporary Art. One of 701 CCA’s major goals in presenting 701 CCA Columbia Open Studios is to contribute significantly to the capital city’s continued efforts toward building a thriving creative economy in the Midlands and beyond.
Open Studios is a free, self-guided tour of registered art studios located in the Greater Columbia Area. Photographers, painters, sculptors and more are featured on this fine arts tour.
The event is a unique opportunity to gain insight into different artists’ creative processes, and to purchase artwork directly from the makers themselves.
Studio 3P, located at 5A Thames Valley in Irmo, will welcome visitors April 2, 10 am – 6 pm, and April 3, noon – 6 pm. Studio 3P, LLC will have several projects ongoing that weekend for visitors to observe, in addition to many works of art. Children and pets are welcome.
A brochure lists the participating artists with addresses, contact information and details about their work, as well as area maps indicating studio locations. Guides are available on-line and at participating studios and other business locations.
