Irmo Mayor Bill Danielson gave opening remarks at the Lexington County Republican Party monthly meeting held on Monday, February 3 at the Flightdeck in Lexington.
Danielson told the group that ‘Irmo is open for business’ and that the town’s growth has been phenomenal in the past few years. He spoke on the infrastructure and the growing pains of the town but that economically and fiscally it is sound.
SC Attorney General Alan Wilson was the keynote speaker and talked about conservatism and his roots in Lexington County. He also took questions at the end of his speech but did not confirm or deny running for governor.
