Two new administrators have joined Dutch Fork Middle School this year.
David Sunday is serving as the new Assistant Principal of Instruction (API) and Sharisse Lee will be serving as the new 8th Grade Assistant Principal.
Sunday comes to the school with experience in junior high and middle schools. Throughout his career, he has taught various subjects and demonstrated a comprehensive understanding of the curriculum. Principal Vernon Sava said, “his expertise spans across multiple content areas, allowing him to provide valuable insights and comprehensive guidance to our teaching staff.”
Sharisse Lee is an experienced advocate in the field of education and is no stranger to Dutch Fork Middle School, where she previously served the community as a school counselor for nine years. She returns to DFMS bringing a wealth of knowledge for fostering academic excellence, promoting a positive school culture, and supporting the holistic development of students.
Before her time as a school counselor, she advocated for students in her role as a Special Education teacher. Most recently she served Irmo Middle School in the role of Administrative Assistant Principal.
