Pamela Bynoe-Reed Selected as 2025 SC Women in Business Honoree

COLUMBIA, S.C. — The Central Midlands Regional Transit Authority (The COMET) proudly announced that Pamela Bynoe-Reed, Director of Marketing & Community Affairs/PIO, has been named a 2025 SC Women in Business award recipient by Integrated Media Publishing.

The prestigious award recognizes outstanding women leaders across South Carolina for their career accomplishments, impact on their organizations, and service to their communities. Bynoe-Reed will be featured in the July 2025 editions of Greenville Business Magazine, Columbia Business Monthly, Charleston Business Magazine, B2B: The Grand Strand, and B2B: Pee Dee Business.

Bynoe-Reed is a seasoned and award-winning communications leader with over 15 years of experience across the transportation, energy, and healthcare sectors. Previously recognized in 2021 as a “Woman to Watch,” she continues to blaze new trails in public transportation marketing.

Among her accomplishments is the impactful “Saving Sarah’s Seat” campaign and her leadership in a $990 million voter-approved initiative that reshaped public transit funding in the region. A sought-after public speaker and current MBA candidate at USC’s Darla Moore School of Business, Bynoe-Reed is widely respected for her skills in strategic storytelling, crisis communication, and leadership development.
