Richland County Ag + Art Tour Returns for 14th Year June 7–8

The Richland County Ag + Art Tour is returning for a 14th year, offering residents and visitors an opportunity to explore the intersection of agriculture and art.

The tour, which showcases local farms, art studios, and community markets, will take place from 9 am to 4 pm June 7 and noon to 4 pm June 8.

The free, family-friendly event invites people to discover Richland County’s agricultural traditions, with opportunities to tour working farms, meet local artisans, and witness the creativity that thrives in this region. From handcrafted pottery and paintings to fresh produce and farm animals, the Ag + Art Tour offers something for all ages.

Key Features
• Farm visits: Take a self-guided tour of working farms and interact with farmers, learn about sustainable agriculture practices, and enjoy guided tours, hands-on workshops, and chicken races.
• Art stops: Explore local artists’ studios and galleries and meet artisans at each tour site. Discover a wide range of artwork, from fine art to handmade crafts. Many artists will demonstrate their creative processes, giving visitors a deeper appreciation for their work.
• Dining: Enjoy food trucks, bakers and local cuisine that highlight the County’s culinary heritage.

With suggested tour routes available (Blythewood, East of Assembly, West of Assembly, and Lower Richland), Ag + Art visitors can choose and explore their favorite tour sites.

The tour includes 17 stops across the county, where guests can visit working farms, watch live art demonstrations, meet farm animals, and enjoy food from local vendors. From handmade pottery to homegrown produce, the event showcases the rich agricultural and artistic heritage of the area.

Suggested routes are available for different parts of the county, including Blythewood, East and West of Assembly, and Lower Richland. Popular sites include Cottle Strawberry Farm, Doko Farm, Stormwater Studios, Mr. Bunky’s Market, and The Purple Mushroom.
