SC Career Kids Spring Break Camp Offers Hands-On Career Exploration for Local Students

IRMO, S.C. – This spring break, students in the Midlands will have the chance to think beyond the classroom and into the future thanks to the return of the SC Career Kids Spring Break Career Camp, hosted April 14–17, 2025, at Seven Oaks Park.

Running daily from 1:00 to 3:30 p.m., this unique camp blends hands-on activities, creative projects, and real-world career exploration designed to spark curiosity and inspire local youth.

Organizers say the camp is more than just a way to keep kids busy during the break—it’s a meaningful learning experience focused on helping students imagine future career paths.

“This isn’t your typical camp,” said organizers from SC Career Kids. “It’s about igniting excitement and giving young people a glimpse of what’s possible in their futures. We want to build confidence, curiosity, and leadership—while having fun.”

Campers will meet professionals from a variety of fields and industries who will share their experiences and guide project-based learning activities. Children will have the opportunity to explore everything from technology and design to healthcare and entrepreneurship, all in an engaging and age-appropriate setting.

With limited spots available, parents are encouraged to sign up early to secure a place for their child. The camp is open to students from Irmo, Columbia, Chapin, West Columbia, Blythewood, and surrounding areas.
