IRMO, SC – The United Women in Faith of Union United Methodist Church will host the Shower of Hope Community Resource Expo on Friday, May 17, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Family Ministry Center, located at 7582 Woodrow Street in Irmo.
This free, family-friendly event is designed to support expecting mothers, caregivers, and families with young children (infants to 4K age) by bringing together local businesses, non-profits, and health and wellness providers. Attendees will have access to valuable resources, expert advice, and fun activities.
Event Highlights:
- Resource Booths – Learn about prenatal care, early childhood education, nutrition, and more from local organizations.
- Workshops & Seminars – Topics include parenting tips, child development, self-care for caregivers, and kinship care support.
