COLUMBIA, S.C. — Members of the St. Andrews Woman’s Club (SAWC) visited Epworth Children’s Home on May 14 to present a scholarship check to support two residents of the organization’s Independent Living Program.
The funds, presented to Christy Mooneyham, Epworth’s Director of Academics, will assist with tuition, books, and transportation as the students begin their post-high school education.
“We’re proud to support these young adults as they take their next steps toward a bright future,” said SAWC member Becky Travis, who was joined by fellow members Gail Elfert and Maureen Taylor for the check presentation.
The scholarship is part of the club’s ongoing commitment to education and youth development in the community.
