Stephanie Yandle, the Customer Experience Manager for Research & Information at BlueCross BlueShield of South Carolina, has been elected as the 2024-2026 chair of The Cooperative Ministry’s board of directors. Her election was confirmed at the board’s June 18 meeting.
Yandle has been a member of The Cooperative Ministry’s board since 2019, most recently serving as vice chair. She has played a significant role in enhancing the organization’s mission-centric experience for clients, ensuring that their needs are met with the highest level of service and care.
A graduate of the University of South Carolina with a bachelor’s degree in public relations, Yandle is also an alumna of Leadership Columbia, class of 2019. Her experience and dedication have made her a valuable asset to The Cooperative Ministry.
The Cooperative Ministry has been serving the Midlands of South Carolina for 42 years, offering programs and services to individuals in financial crisis, helping them move toward self-sufficiency. In Fiscal Year 2023-2024, the organization assisted 13,120 people with financial health coaching, rent and utility assistance, career improvement, free clothing for work and school, emergency food boxes, insurance counseling, and free tax preparation. Notably, The Cooperative Ministry is a debt-free organization, with 89% of its expenses directly supporting program services.
