Columbia, SC – Food lovers, mark your calendars! The highly anticipated Taste of Lake Murray is making its grand return to the DoubleTree by Hilton Columbia on March 27, 2025. Presented by Lexington Medical Center, this annual event promises an unforgettable evening filled with exceptional cuisine, live music, dancing, and community spirit—all in support of Lake Murray’s Independence Day Celebration.
A Feast for the Senses
From savory bites to sweet indulgences, this year’s star-studded culinary lineup will feature a diverse array of flavors crafted by some of the region’s top chefs and culinary teams. Attendees can savor delights such as:
- Bessie’s Sweet Delights – Banana pudding, lemon cake squares, and assorted cupcakes
- Big Boys BBQ – BBQ sliders and mini porko (pork taco)
- Blue Marlin – Shrimp and grits
- Halls Chophouse – Prime steak-tini with whipped potatoes and crispy onion straws
- Iron Hill Brewery & Restaurant – Brisket queso with chips and Philly Phavorite IPA samples
- J.R. Cash’s Grill & Bar – Prime rib sandwich
- Moe’s Southwest Grill – Mini burrito bowls with birria and poblano crema
- The War Mouth – Smoked quail and waffles

Live Entertainment & Culinary Competition
Beyond the food, the event will feature live performances from the Band of Oz and The Reggie Sullivan Band, keeping the energy high throughout the night. Additionally, guests will get to vote for their favorite chef, with the winner earning the opportunity to represent Team Lake Murray Country at the 2025 World Food Championships in Indianapolis.
