Town of Irmo Hosts Inaugural Christmas Parade

The Town of Irmo held its inaugural Christmas Parade on Saturday, December 6, as spectators braved the weather and lined St. Andrews Road to watch the festive procession. The parade route stretched from Crossroads Middle School to Irmo Elementary School.

Floats and participants represented the Town of Irmo, Richland County Sheriff’s Department, Irmo ROTC, the Irmo High School marching band, along with local elected officials and businesses from throughout Irmo.

Santa Claus made a special appearance, riding atop an Irmo Fire Department truck, bringing holiday cheer to children and families along the route.
