The award is the town’s highest honor for residents and volunteers who go above and beyond to make the community a better place to live, work, and play.
The town is looking for unsung heroes whose dedication, selflessness, and local pride define the very spirit of Irmo.

When submitting your nomination provide an overview of your candidate’s impact. Focusing on the following areas:
Service & Contributions: Describe the specific work the nominee has done. Whether it’s revitalizing a local park, organizing community food drives, or mentoring our youth.
Dedication Over Time: Impact isn’t always measured in a single day. Indicate how long the nominee has been active in the Irmo community. Is this a lifetime of service or a powerful recent initiative?
Breadth of Impact: Who has felt the positive effects of their work? Be as specific as possible and mention local non-profits, specific neighborhoods, schools, or groups of residents who are better off because of the nominee’s efforts.
Core Values: Why does this person represent Irmo? They are looking for individuals who reflect our town’s values of neighborly kindness, civic responsibility, and community pride.
