Virtual Evening for Education October 13

On October 13 at 6pm, the District Five Foundation is hosting Evening for Education, the Foundation’s annual fall celebration and auction, in a virtual format.

The Foundation made the change from its typical in-person event in an attempt to protect the safety, health, and wellbeing of our guests, teachers, students, and community members. This year’s event will include a silent auction and raffle drawings.

The Foundation welcomes any and all businesses, organizations, and individuals to sponsor and attend the event. Proceeds raised will benefit the District Five Foundation in its efforts to support innovative programs, initiatives, and other needs for students, teachers, and staff across School District Five of Lexington and Richland Counties.

To join the virtual event visit district5foundation. Information, including sponsorships and raffle ticket purchases, can be found on the Foundation’s website at www.district5foundation.org/events-fall-fundraiser.htm or by emailing the Foundation’s Executive Director, Mary Kathryne Wadford, at [email protected].

The foundation thanks its 2020 sponsors: Ken and Jondy Loveless, Contract Construction, Timmons Contracting, American Floral, Edcon, Inc., Mid-Carolina Electric Cooperative, The LaMotta Family, Halligan Mahoney and Williams, Kay Dental Services, Metals & Alloys, White & Story, LLC, Stevens & Wilkinson, Chao and Associates, First Community Bank, Dr. and Mrs. Karl Fulmer, Old South Ironworks, Rainbow International Restoration, Todd and Joy Rambo, and Ken and Amy Ward.
