“AS I SEE IT …”

Hopefully by now you have heard about Lexington County’s effort for funding improvements to our roads – it’s called the “CAPITAL PROJECT SALES TAX” (CPST).

We all know our roads need attention, such as resurfacing, turn lanes,
intersection improvements, and reduced congestion. And, very importantly,
the response time of our First Responders needs to be shortened and safe.
This funding option will be on the Lexington County ballot on Tuesday,
November 8th, for the citizens to cast their votes. On the ballot, you will have
one of three options to make your voice heard:

1 – “Vote Yes” for roads, thereby having visitors who spend money in

Lexington County assist with the funding of our road repairs, OR

2 – “Vote No” for roads, and when road repairs get funded another

way, it will be a tax on just Lexington County residents, OR

3 – “Don’t Vote” at all, and you have no say in the outcome.

Now ….
“WHAT SAY YOU?”
I say ….
“BE AN INFORMED VOTER!!!”
