Chamber to host penny tax seminar

The Greater Irmo Chamber of Commerce will host an information session on Tuesday, August 16 at 2:30 pm in the Town of Irmo municipal building located at 1239 Columbia Ave. Lexington County Administrator Lynn Sturkie and Deputy Administrator Michael Spires will present along with VP of Alliance Consulting Engineers, Kyle Clampitt. 

There will be a question and answer period after the presentation. The event is free to the public. Lexington County Council passed the ‘penny tax’ or Capital Project Sales Tax in July to be put on the ballot in November.
