IRMO — Tina Stevens, a counselor at Irmo Middle School, was recognized as a Hometown Hero during the University of South Carolina men’s basketball game on February 21.
Stevens was nominated for the honor by Chick-fil-A manager Andrew Brantley in recognition of her leadership and service through the school’s Chick-fil-A Leadership Club. Brantley said he has witnessed Stevens consistently going above and beyond to serve students and the broader community.
He nominated her for the recognition after seeing the meaningful impact she has made through her work at the school and in partnership with local organizations.
The Hometown Hero recognition highlights individuals who demonstrate outstanding service and leadership within their communities.
