CrossRoads Intermediate School has been named the 2026 SC Region 3 Math Nation+ Test Yourself. Challenge Champion.
Each year, Math Nation+ equips South Carolina schools with focused, practical tools to prepare students for SC READY and SCEOCEP. The South Carolina Boot Camp fully aligns with the 2025 South Carolina College-and-Career Ready Mathematics Standards, Blueprints, as well as the SC Assessment Specifications.
Teachers receive instructional support, including SC-specific practice questions, class presentations, short instructional videos, editable review calendars, and daily digital assessments—enabling meaningful, standards-based review in the weeks leading up to testing. To further engage and motivate students, Math Nation+ hosted the 2026 State Championship Test Yourself. Challenge.
With 176,037 entries submitted statewide, Crossroads Intermediate School distinguished itself as a top performer. Students at Crossroads logged 10,466 entries, earning the school the title of South Carolina Palmetto Bowl Region 3 Champion.
On average, Crossroads Intermediate students completed 19 high-quality entries per student, demonstrating exceptional commitment, perseverance, and focus.
“I am incredibly proud of our students for earning 2nd place in the state and 1st place in our region in Math Nation’s Test Yourself. Challenge,” said Principal Dr. Erin Doty. “Their hard work and determination in completing the Boot Camp Challenge truly reflect their dedication to learning and commitment to excellence. This achievement is a testament not only to our students’ perseverance, but also to the unwavering support and dedication of our teachers, who worked tirelessly to prepare students for SC READY and for success in 7th grade. We celebrate this accomplishment together as a school community.”
South Carolina Region 3 includes Edgefield, Barnwell, Calhoun, Allendale, Bamberg, Sumter, Orangeburg, Aiken, Lexington, and Richland counties.
“This is what commitment looks like,” said Dr. Tiffany Arnold, National Implementation Partner of Math Nation+ in South Carolina. “Crossroads teachers met with me at 7:30 in the morning—before the school day even began—twice, to ensure they fully understood every part of the Boot Camp and Challenge. That level of dedication shows up in the classroom, and their students’ success is the result.”
