District Five hosts April 30 Virtual Recruitment and Pathways to Certification Event

IRMO – Lexington-Richland School District Five is teaming up with the South Carolina Department of Employment and Workforce for a Virtual Recruitment Event and Pathways to Certification Event on April 30 from 3:00-5:00 p.m.

The district is looking to fill certified teaching and support positions. Support roles include: bus drivers, classroom support, clerical support, student nutrition, and custodians.

The event will also provide information on alternative certification organizations regarding the best pathway to finishing a degree or obtaining certification to begin a career in the classroom. SC CREATE, APEC Center, SC PACE and Teach SC will be participating in the virtual event.
