Open Letter
Against advisors’ advice, Donald Trump called Vladimir Putin in 2018 and congratulated him on winning the sham election for president of Russia. Trump was serving as president of the United States.
In 2019, Trump said of Kim Jong Un, “We fell in love.” They had exchanged letters of mutual admiration. Now, Trump is running to be reelected president, and yet again he called Putin this past weekend to congratulate him on the prisoner swap with the United States.
This is a fact and not fiction. Trump obviously admires dictators and aspires to be one himself. Why is the Republican party presenting him yet again to be president?
Should he return to the White House, Americans will no longer “pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America and to the republic for which it stands.” Trump plans to ensconce himself as a dictator.
Free and fair elections will cease. Life as citizens know it now will cease. Trump has shown repeatedly who he is. People need to believe him now, as they should have listened before, and protect America from him.
