Tina Wilkerson, the owner of Elite Personal Training Studio, received a grant from the Irmo Future Growth Corporation recently. Located at 1186 Columbia Ave. Suite 101 in Irmo, Elite Personal Training has offered not only physical training but full-body health for more than 14 years.
The Irmo Future Growth Corporation is a non-profit entity that began in 2020 as an idea to help Irmo businesses that have suffered economically due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The town council voted unanimously to install the corporation so that all Irmo businesses may apply for the grant. The only requirement is that they must be able to document hardships and losses from March 2020 to the present and must have been an Irmo business since January 2020.
