The Irmo Future Growth Corporation continues to present grants to businesses inside the town limits that suffered financially due to COVID-19.
The concept brought to the town council by Councilman Bill Danielson was first discussed nearly a year ago and through Danielson’s perseverance and guidance, the program was hatched. Recipients only need to apply online at the town’s website. Since the program started nearly $100,000 has been presented to local businesses.
This week Golden Wings received a check from Councilman Eric Sickinger and Bill Danielson. Both Jason and James were grateful for the grant. Golden Wings is located at 7971 N. Woodrow St.
