I am proud to endorse Catherine Huddle and Ken Loveless and for the Lexington-Richland District 5 School Board.
Catherine Huddle is extremely talented in executive finance and has voted to protect our tax dollars. She truly understands how the millage rate affects each of us and has pushed for better transparency from her board peers. She has consistently voted for better teacher compensation and funding reading and math intervention programs.
Ken Loveless has tirelessly fought and supported workforce development education for those students who don’t choose to go to college right out of high school. With his leadership in workforce development many programs have been successful for our students. As an example, Ken set up a meeting between community members, educators and county leaders, including me, to discuss how we can all work together to increase and improve EMT training to address the county’s EMS staffing needs.
Huddle and Loveless have a proven track record of working collaboratively and voting in the best interests in mind for our students, teachers, parents and all taxpayers. A vote for them is a vote for all of us!
