Irmo Town Councilman Bill Danielson presented a check to Leigh Essig of Leigh Essig Photography as part of the Irmo Future Growth Corporation grants.
In December of 2020 Councilman Bill Danielson proposed the idea of assisting small businesses with monetary relief who had suffered adversely due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Danielson, who is also the Chairman of the Corporation, announced they have already provided more than $100,000 to local businesses that have suffered due to the economic climate.
