Nursery Road Elementary School-Arts Magnet teacher Christa Edwards and student Wynter Still have been named the Teacher and Student of the Month for the Irmo Chamber of Commerce.
Principal Karey Fisher said, “Ms. Edwards is a kindergarten teacher at our school and is also our Teacher of the Year. She is undoubtedly the most dedicated teacher and leader. She is the person you would want to have your child in her class. We are so thankful to have her at our school.”
Fisher said, “Wynter is the student who is always doing what she needs to be doing when no one is watching. She leads by example. She is quiet but her teachers all say she is a mighty force. She is dedicated and hard working and is a huge asset to our school.”
