IRMO, S.C. – The Irmo Chamber of Commerce has named Glenna Shealy and Faith King from Dutch Fork Elementary School as the Teacher and Student of the Month for their dedication and contributions to the school community.
Teacher of the Month: Glenna Shealy
Shealy serves as a reading interventionist and was also a finalist for the District Teacher of the Year. Principal Rebecca Dilley praised her commitment, saying:
“She serves students across all grade levels and truly encompasses the heart of Dutch Fork Elementary. She treats every student as if they were her own, and we are incredibly grateful for the love and dedication she brings to our school.”
Student of the Month: Faith King
Faith King, a third-grade student, was recognized for her kind heart and strong work ethic.
“Faith is one of the most caring students I have ever worked with,” Dilley shared. “She works incredibly hard in class and is always checking in on her classmates and teachers to ensure they are okay. She has a heart of gold, and we are so proud to have her as part of the Fox Cub family.”
