Irmo, SC – Mayor Bill Danielson was recognized with the 2025 Order of the Okra, the highest honor presented by the Greater Irmo Chamber of Commerce, during the Chamber’s annual awards gala on Friday, February 28.
The award celebrates Danielson’s unwavering dedication to the Irmo community through his service on the Irmo Town Council, his leadership in the local business sector during his tenure on the Irmo Chamber Board, and the lasting contributions he has made to the town’s growth and success.
Joining in the celebration were GICC CEO/President Kerry Powers and GICC Chairman of the Board Billy Chastain, who presented the award in recognition of Danielson’s outstanding service and impact.
