Irmo Police officers responded to a motor vehicle collision involving two vehicles in the 1300 block of Lake Murray Boulevard. The collision occurred around 10:20 pm, leading to both drivers being swiftly transported to Prisma Health Richland by EMS for immediate medical attention.
It has been confirmed that one of the drivers, who sustained injuries in the collision, succumbed to their injuries earlier this morning. The identity of the deceased individual will not be disclosed until their family has been notified of this tragic loss.
